Integrated Control Strategy and Simulation Analysis of Energy Storage Participating in Power Grid Regulation
The main principle of energy storage participating in the emergency control of the power system is to use the charge and discharge of energy storage to simulate stability control measures such as load-shedding. It maintains the stability of the power grid, reduces the loss of load, and prevents the system from chain failures or even large-scale blackouts. Based on the regulation and control measures of energy storage participation in the power system, the regulation and control strategy of energy storage is proposed from three aspects: frequency emergency control, voltage emergency control, system renewable energy consumption and peak balancing. Then, based on the energy storage droop control strategy and fault traverse mode, the effectiveness of the energy storage participating in the emergency control of the system frequency and voltage is verified by simulation. Finally, based on the mathematical model of the system absorption and peak regulation, the actual data of the provincial power grid were used to solve the model. The effectiveness and adaptability of the energy storage participating in the system peak regulation control were verified.
