Exploring Technological Interventions for Dyslexia Across Multilingual Contexts
Dyslexia is a developmental disorder that significantly impacts language skills, particularly reading and writing, while individuals often excel in other cognitive areas such as memory and problem-solving. This paper systematically reviews the latest assistive technologies designed to enhance language skills in dyslexic students. The review highlights technological interventions across diverse linguistic and cultural contexts, emphasizing visually engaging and gamified environments that have shown promise in mitigating dyslexic challenges. A notable gap in the literature is the lack of comparative studies examining the effectiveness of these technologies in English versus nonEnglish language interventions. This paper aims to address this gap by providing a comprehensive analysis of the existing technological solutions tailored to dyslexic learners, focusing on their effectiveness in overcoming common dyslexic difficulties such as phonetic challenges, mirror writing, and dyscalculia.
