Evaluation Method of HVDC Constructing Provincial Main Power Grid Scheme Considering Short-Circuit Current Control
With the policy drive of “dual carbon” and new power system construction, HVDCs outside the region become the main power supply source of the future power grid. It is necessary to comprehensively analyze the drop point plan and the power grid structure from the drop point scheme of the power grid. Based on the short-circuit current near the HVDc drop point of the receiving-end power grid, the security margin index of the circuit breaker is proposed. Next, the index of the reduction degree of the short-circuit of the bus of the 500kV substation after taking measures is calculated. The average change value of the short-circuit current security margin in the future target year is compared and analyzed when different short-circuit current control schemes are adopted. Then, the average value of the average change of the short-circuit current security margin of all 500kV substations near the HVDc converter station in the future target is analyzed and calculated. The 500kV transmission line load rate near the HVDc converter station, the average load rate of all transmission lines, and line load rate variance are also obtained. Based on the load rate and the load rate variance of the transmission lines with key 500kV transmission line failure in the near area of the HVDc converter station, an objective function is established to analyze the comprehensive effect of the short-circuit current control scheme. Finally, a provincial regional power grid is used to verify the effectiveness and adaptability of the proposed method.
