Design and Analysis of Second Generation Voltage Conveyor using MVF

This paper presents the novel design of second generation voltage conveyor (VCII) realization. The proposed circuit is based on class-AB merged voltage follower (MVF) technique which is used in implementation of VCII at output stage. The merged voltage follower is a highly efficient buffer cell commonly used for low power and low voltage. MVF provides the decreased output impedance along with the low power consumption. The applications of the proposed VCII as a filter are also presented. Using 180nm CMOS technology at a low supply voltage of ±0.9V, the proposed VCII results are verified and simulated. By utilizing this proposed circuit, the performance of the filter applications thoroughly analysed and validated.
