Research on APF Based on Average Current Value Instantaneous Reactive Power Harmonic Detection

Active power filter (APF) is suitable for compensating reactive power and dynamically suppressing harmonics. Compared with traditional passive filters, they have better harmonic control effects. Harmonic current detection is a key technology that affects the performance of active power filters. Abstract

Active power filter (APF) is suitable for compensating reactive power and dynamically suppressing harmonics. Compared with traditional passive filters, they have better harmonic control effects. Harmonic current detection is a key technology that affects the performance of active power filters. For the widely used and based on instantaneous reactive power theory, the low-pass filter in the <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{i}_{\boldsymbol{p}}-\boldsymbol{i}_{\boldsymbol{q}}$</tex> harmonic detection method has the disadvantages of low filtering accuracy and large delay, in this paper, the average value theory is introduced, and the average value filter is constructed to replace the low-pass filter to make up for the shortcomings of the <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\boldsymbol{i}_{\boldsymbol{p}}-\boldsymbol{i}_{\boldsymbol{q}}$</tex> harmonic detection method. The simulation results indicate its efficiency compared to traditional detection methods.
