Design and Analysis of Three-Axis Solar Panel
The Solar energy is one of the sustainable renewable energies and a green energy which is ultimately harnessed through a solar photovoltaic system and solar cell surfaces. It is growing continuously, green sustainable technologies with increasing rate of global growth figures, due to its accessibility, and vast availability on our Earth. But the drawback is to capture the maximum sun rays for the generation of power, to overcome the above issue, this paper proposed the implementation of THREE AXIS SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM. The normal (fixed) solar tracking system is not be able to track the sun’s continuous revolution and this limits the amount of sun radiation and the absorption. Three axis tracking system is the practical solution to these drawbacks. In the development of hardware, two geared DC stepper motors which are adjusted by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) that the drive unit operates the panel by utilizing four Light-Dependent Resistors (LDRs) to generate analog signals. These signals are subsequently processed by a low-energy ATMEGA328P microcontroller equipped with Arduino.
