Evaluation of the Hybrid FSO/RF DF Relayed Satellite Communication Network Operation
In contemporary communication networks, ensuring reliable and high-speed data transmission is imperative. This research paper introduces an innovative strategy to tackle communication challenges in demanding environments, with a specific focus on enhancing the effectiveness of using HAPS as a decode and forward Relay system employing a Hybrid Free- Space Optical (FSO) and Radio Frequency (RF) approach. In modern communication networks, the imperative of reliable and high-speed data transmission is paramount across various applications. The hybrid FSO/RF network is engineered to address inherent weaknesses in both Free-Space and Radio Frequency communication technologies. Through the incorporation of a Decode and Forward relay, the proposed system establishes a versatile backbone, thereby elevating overall system reliability. This approach seeks to facilitate efficient communication in scenarios where conventional systems might encounter limitations. To gauge the performance of the system, mathematical expressions are formulated for both outage probability and Bit Error Rate. These expressions serve as quantitative benchmarks for evaluating the dependability and precision of the proposed communication system. The paper underscores the importance of the hybrid approach in navigating challenges prevalent in satellite communication within demanding environments. The Decode and Forward relay is explored as a pivotal component contributing to the system's adaptability and dependability. The derived mathematical expressions offer a thorough analysis of the system's performance under diverse conditions, presenting valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the realm of communication networks.
