Optimizing Workforce Capacity Planning and Enhancing Productivity Through Integrated People Analytics at Saipem
Abstract Saipem has adopted an Integrated Capacity Planning approach to align workforce capacity with project needs. It relies on Business Intelligence and HR and project data to map employees’ skills and experiences, and to support strategic decisions. The approach is part of the Company Sustainable People Strategy, which aims to develop the competencies and culture for the energy transition and innovation. For the mapping of competencies, Saipem uses the ESCO (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) system and the Quick competence mapping method, which allows to quickly identify the key competencies of a role or a person.
