The impact of design on the economy
As we know, all fields of knowledge ultimately serve to help each of us understand and benefit from the world, the environment, people, and nature around us during our lifetime. Understanding and depicting the world requires the significant role of both science and art. While science always serves the reflection of reality, objectivity, and accuracy, art’s reflection of the world is not necessarily objective or precise but is directed towards emotions, creative spirit, and perspective. Economics, in fact, is closer to art than to precise sciences due to its characteristics. This is because economics is a social and humanitarian discipline. The change in economic relations and the exchange of economic systems are also reflected in art. Art defines its own boundaries in unity with economics and highlights the symbolic meaning of economics.
