Design and Implement of High Performance Temperature Sensor Based on Computer
The sensor system based on computer system has the advantages of low cost and easy expansion. However, real-time clock calibration in computer systems requires high-precision temperature sensors, while heat management applications emphasize ultra-small area and low-voltage operation. Aiming at the above difficulties and challenges, this paper studies the on-chip CMOS temperature sensor in different signal domains of temperature readout circuit. Firstly, several degenerate points in the front-end circuit of BJT temperature sensor using current gain compensation technology are analyzed. Secondly, aiming at the problems of advanced design of CMOS temperature sensor and difficult calibration in industrial application, the technology of dynamic component matching, current gain compensation and chopper stabilization is adopted, a novel dynamic current gain cancellation technique for temperature readout of battery is proposed. Finally, based on this architecture, an all-digital CMOS temperature sensor is realized in SMIC 55 nm CMOS process, and the clock calibration of the computer system is realized.
