TARI TOKECANG SEBAGAI MEDIA ALTERNATIF DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI

This study aims to determine the factors that influence children's character development and to understand the reasons and impacts of using Tokecang Dance on early childhood learning. This study uses a qualitative approach of descriptive data analysis conducted in seven meetings with field observations and direct interviews with parents and students who are research samples, the instruments used in this study are observation, interview and documentation guidelines. The results of this study can be seen from several aspects observed during the study, where children's discipline, cooperation, and self-confidence increase. Active involvement in dance activities helps children to understand the importance of teamwork and appreciate the role of each individual in the group, children also learn to manage emotions and develop effective communication skills. Based on this, it can be concluded that learning the Tokecang Dance with an inclusive and interactive approach has a significant role in developing early childhood character in Cibogo Village, Lembang, West Bandung Regency
