Solitary radial ciliary vessel in the anterior chamber angle

Figure 1: Gonioscopy photograph showing radial ciliary blood vessel arising from the ciliary body band and ending in the trabecular meshwork without arborizingA 27-year-old man presented for regular check-up. On examination, his visual acuity was 6/6 and the anterior segment was normal in both eyes. The intraocular pressure was 16 mmHg in both eyes. Gonioscopy showed open angles in both eyes. In the temporal quadrant of the right eye, a blood vessel was noted arising from the ciliary body band crossing the scleral spur and ending in the trabecular meshwork without arborizing, suggestive of a radial ciliary blood vessel [Fig. 1]. The posterior segment was normal. Declaration of patient consent The authors certify that they have obtained all appropriate patient consent forms.
