Management of leaking filtering bleb using scleral rotational autograft - A case series
The outcomes of glaucoma filtering surgery have been significantly enhanced with the use of antifibrotic agents. Bleb leak is a serious complication of trabeculectomy and can lead to sight-threatening complications such as hypotony maculopathy and even endophthalmitis. Bleb leaks can be managed both conservatively and surgically. Managing a bleb leak is challenging, even for an experienced glaucoma surgeon. We present a series of four cases of post-trabeculectomy bleb leaks that were managed using a scleral rotational autograft.
