“ExpoImagina”: a triple helix framework for linking public universities towardssocial innovation
The Universidad de Guadalajara, as a public institution with 232 years of tradition, faces economic and political challenges that affect its academic and research development. Through the "ExpoImagina" event, it has promoted entrepreneurship, linking students with the private sector and municipal governments. Since its inception in 2018, the event has evolved, incorporating conferences, exhibitions and workshops that promote entrepreneurial talent. The collaboration between the university and the Ministry of Rural Development of Jalisco has allowed a significant impact, with thousands of visitors and remarkable economic growth.
