The author also came to the conclusion that at the initial stage of the First World War, in the conditions of a powerful patriotic upsurge, there was an intensification of the work of the Russian Red Cross Society both nationwide and on the territory of the Ufa province. This trend is marked by an increase in the number of members of the society and a significant increase in monetary allocations to its fund. However, due to the protracted nature of the war and the growing crisis phenomena within the country, by 1917 the amount of donations had significantly decreased, which significantly complicated the further activities of the Society, both nationwide and at the regional level.
