Cryogenic Single-Chip Multi-Channel LNA

This paper presents the integration of multiple cryogenic low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) on a single chip designed for superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD) readout. The five-channel LNA ICs were fabricated in a 0.13-µm SiGe BiCMOS technology and tested in 4-K physical temperature using an on-wafer RF probing method.

Abstract

This paper presents the integration of multiple cryogenic low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) on a single chip designed for superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD) readout. The five-channel LNA ICs were fabricated in a 0.13-µm SiGe BiCMOS technology and tested in 4-K physical temperature using an on-wafer RF probing method.
