Infrared Image Segmentation Method Based on Tsallis Entropy
Image segmentation of infrared images is an important part of effectively technology of detecting infrared information. Due to the characteristics of low contrast, high noise, and image blurring in infrared images, accurate segmentation of infrared images is difficult. In order to get the clearly and accurately edges of infrared images, a new tsallis entropy method and particle swarm optimization is proposed. We compute the tsallis entropy of hold image and search the best threshold of infrared image segmentation. Experimental results show that with the particle swarm optimization method, we get the clearly and accurately edges of infrared images.
