Function Point Analysis of Fuzzy Risk Priority Number Calculator
Function Point Analysis (FPA) is a popular technique for assessing software size. It is critical for project management and resource allocation in software development. However, FPA methods have been criticized for their limitations in handling the complexities and uncertainties inherent in modern software systems. This problem has driven researchers to make improvements. In response, this paper estimates function points for the Fuzzy-RPN calculator software using a modified IFPUG (International Function Point Users Group) method. By incorporating fuzzy logic and the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), our approach addresses the limitations of conventional FPA, providing a more accurate estimation method. These improvements are precious for industries that rely on precise software analysis for effective decision-making and risk management.
