A Dualband RF Rectifier for ISM and 5G Applications
This paper presents the design and performance analysis of a dual-band RF rectifier operating at 2.45 GHz and 3.5 GHz, utilizing a single HSMS2852 Schottky diode. The rectifier is designed to efficiently convert RF energy to DC power for applications in WiFi and sub-6 GHz 5G networks. At an input power of 5 dBm, the rectifier achieves efficiencies of 70% at 2.45 GHz and 39% at 3.5 GHz. Additionally, the rectifier demonstrates maximum rectified output voltages of 3.15 V and 4.17 V at an input power of 10 dBm for 2.45 GHz and 3.5 GHz, respectively. The high efficiency and dual-band capability make this rectifier a promising solution for energy harvesting in modern wireless communication systems.
