Intelligent Elderly Care Service Based in the Context of Big Data and AI in China
The escalating aging population in China has rendered the conventional model of community geriatric care inadequate in addressing the evolving needs and preferences of the elderly. To strike a harmonious balance between traditional kinship-oriented norms and contemporary professional institutional care, while accommodating diverse and unique geriatric requirements amid limited family support systems, the development of intelligent geriatric care services has become imperative. The rapid technological advancements in big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) have presented novel opportunities for the geriatric care industry. The “big data + AI” elderly care model effectively integrates online and offline care resources through digitalization, networking, and intelligentization. This model not only rapidly responds to diverse geriatric care demands, facilitating an efficient alignment between supply and demand, but also enhances resource utilization efficiency, stimulates market consumption potential, and significantly promotes the high-quality development of geriatric care services.
