Measurement Research of Blade Surface Based on Three-Dimensional Point Cloud
Aiming at the difficulties and low precision of aircraft blade profile measurement, a method of blade profile measurement based on three-dimensional point cloud is proposed. First, the RANSAC (random sample consensus) algorithm was used to extract the blade central axis, and then based on principal components analysis (PCA), The PCA algorithm aligns and corrects the cross section Point cloud cut along the main axis with the standard data point cloud. The aligned point cloud is carefully registered using the Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm. By adding and averaging the distance between the matched point pairs, Finally, the profile errors of each main section of the blade are obtained. The experiments on the three-dimensional point cloud of the scanned blade show that the proposed method can accurately measure the profile errors of each section of the blade, and it is also proved that the proposed method has high robustness through multiple measurements.
