Fractional-Order Control for Composite Silicone Dielectric Elastomer Actuated Motion System
In this paper a new dynamical system model is constructed and a fractional-order control scheme is proposed to deal with the high precision control problem of composite silicone rubber dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA). The main contributions are summarized as: 1) the strong nonlinearity behavior of the DEA is described by constructing a new Kelvin-Voigt and 3-parameter Mooney-Rivlin model. Then it is validated through open-loop input-outnut experiments. 2) a new fractional-order dynamical model of DEA is constructed and a corresponding fractional-order controller is proposed. Then a satisfactory tracking control performance is achieved. Finally comparison experiments are implemented on the constructed dielectric elastomer actuated platform to show the advantages of the proposed fractional-order control scheme
