Compact Parasitic Patch Antenna Array with Beam Steering Capabilities

This study focuses on the design and optimization of a compact parasitic patch antenna array endowed with beam steering capabilities. With the current demand for smaller, more efficient antennas that can dynamically adjust their radiation patterns, traditional designs are becoming inadequate. This research aims to develop a compact antenna array that not only meets stringent size constraints but also excels in key performance metrics such as gain, bandwidth, and efficiency. By utilizing Rogers R04003C material, which ensures higher gain bandwidth, and incorporating beam steering mechanisms, the antenna can dynamically change the direction of its radiation pattern, crucial for applications such as radar, wireless communication, and satellite communication.
