MODELING OF NON-UNIFORMITY PHOTOSENSITIVITY OF PIXELS OF A CCD LINEAR IMAGE SENSOR

The results of modeling the process of forming an electrical signal from the output of a CCD linear device, taking into account the photo response non-uniformity of pixels, are presented. A quantitative assessment of the error introduced by the uneven photosensitivity of pixels into the calculation of the coordinates of the light spot by the centroid method is given.

Abstract

The results of modeling the process of forming an electrical signal from the output of a CCD linear device, taking into account the photo response non-uniformity of pixels, are presented. A quantitative assessment of the error introduced by the uneven photosensitivity of pixels into the calculation of the coordinates of the light spot by the centroid method is given.
