MICROMECHANICAL CONTROL OF SPIN WAVE DYNAMICS IN A WAVEGUIDE WITH A ZIGZAG GEOMETRIC SECTION
The results of numerical modeling of surface magnetostatic wave propagation in a periodic magnon crystal made of iron-yttrium garnet with (YIG) geometrical inhomogeneity in the form of characteristic zigzag fractures are presented. It is shown that such geometrical inhomogeneity is able to demonstrate the appearance of forbidden zones of the spin wave even at a small number of periods. The use of a rhomboidal YIG resonator was proposed as a control of the frequency composition of the spin wave. By changing the location of the YIG resonator relative to the zigzag waveguide, it is possible to achieve a change in the composition of the forbidden zones.
