TUNABILITY OF COMB SPECTRA IN A RING FIBER RESONATORS WITH AN ACTIVE PHOTONIC CRYSTAL ELEMENTS

We have considered the possibility of using harmonic mode-locked ring resonators as all-fiber oscillators with a tunable comb spectrum. We have proposed a scheme for generating picosecond pulses with a controlled sub-terahertz repetition rate from the original continuous radiation with weak amplitude modulation.

Abstract

We have considered the possibility of using harmonic mode-locked ring resonators as all-fiber oscillators with a tunable comb spectrum. We have proposed a scheme for generating picosecond pulses with a controlled sub-terahertz repetition rate from the original continuous radiation with weak amplitude modulation.
