FORMATION OF PERIODIC STRUCTURES IN A MAGNETIC LIQUID WITH DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS OF MAGNETIC POWDER PARTICLES

Soft robotics offers new opportunities to create robots capable of performing tasks not available to traditional rigid robots. Various materials, mechanisms and control systems are actively being investigated in this field, including the use of magnetic fluids (MF) to control micro- and nanorobots. This work is aimed at studying the behavior of multiformat and nanoscale magnetic particles in MF under the influence of a magnetic field. The effects of a homogeneous and inhomogeneous magnetic field with different directions and magnitudes on the motion and orientation of magnetic particles are investigated. The results obtained will optimize the use of magnetic fluids for the development of new types of soft robots with improved motion and control properties.
