DYNAMICS OF WAVE PACKETS WITH STRONG PHASE MODULATION IN OPTICAL FIBERS WITH A DECREASING DISPERSION PROFILE
We have considered the dynamics of radiation with strong phase modulation in a fibers with a decreasing exponential profile of group velocity dispersion. It is shown that the magnitude of phase modulation determines the peak power of the generated pulses. Also, phase modulation of the input radiation has a significant effect on the repetition rate and peak power of the generated laser pulses.
