Scientific Research Trends of Historical Science of Kazakhstan

A significant part of state policy has been and still is historical science, which forms the trends of ideological and patriotic education.The cycles of interaction between "history" and "power" in interdisciplinary analysis demonstrate dynamics depending on the current political situation.The purpose of the article is to show the formation of new research trends in historical science and the role of government in the transformation of its content on the example of Kazakhstan.In Soviet times, the mouthpiece of the government was the institute of the party, in which the Ch.Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, headed by M. Kozybaev, played a significant role and made a special contribution.Under his leadership, the historical science of Kazakhstan has made a significant breakthrough, not only touching on previously closed topics, but forming the foundations of the academic history of Kazakhstan.The Kazakh historical community has adapted to the new conditions, developing new research directions.The article analyzes the main trends and priorities of the development of historical science in the Republic of Kazakhstan, where an important role was played by a young galaxy of scientists such as N. Masanov, Zh.Abylkhozhin, I. Yerofeeva.The formation of the content of Kazakh history proceeded at a large pace, where science and pseudoscience passed almost side by side, one of the trends was the writing of ancestral history with elements of batyrization.The "battles" for the Kazakh historical science and the works of the young pleiades became the basis of the fundamental historical science of Kazakhstan.The article highlights the role and place of history in the structure of power, in the focus of the participation of research institutions and centers in solving the tasks of state policy on the formation and development of conceptual provisions of national history, national memory.An analytical review of the current situation of the nationalization of history demonstrates the main thematic plots of scientific research and reveals the interaction of departmental scientific institutions with government agencies in the formation of national historiography and the regulation of the content of historical memory.
