Research on Real-Time Image Data Transmission System of UAV in Fault Location of Distribution Network

This project intends to study the use of infrared imaging technology to detect thermal anomalies on the transmission line based on the infrared detection on the unmanned aerial vehicle, so as to achieve the purpose of accurate identification and positioning of the fault parts of the transmission line. Firstly, a continuous infrared image is extracted from the infrared video. Through the difference between the frames of these images, the main orientation of the wire can be judged. This enables the accurate location of the transmission line. The fault location and automatic detection of transmission lines are realized by combining the extracted transmission lines with the fault diagnosis criteria through infrared images. The simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this project can effectively remove complex surface radiation factors in transmission lines, and has the advantages of small threshold number and high accuracy. This algorithm can provide an efficient automatic extraction technology for transmission lines based on VAV line inspection and infrared detection of transmission lines.
