Multi-Dimensional Carbon Label Evaluation of Electric Power Based on Improved Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy Weight Method

This study aims to address the multi-dimensional issue of carbon emission evaluation in the electric power industry, using the improved Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the entropy weight method to construct a comprehensive multi-dimensional carbon label evaluation method for electric power. The method of measuring carbon emissions in power production was discussed in detail, including key indicators such as carbon emission factors and fuel conversion efficiency, providing an accurate data basis for subsequent evaluations. The definition and calculation of multi- dimensional carbon labels for electricity are explained. By introducing dimensions such as energy density and carbon capture technology, the evaluation system will be expanded to a more comprehensive scope to better reflect the environmental performance of power production. Using the improved AHP entropy weight method, combined with expert opinions and mathematical models, a comprehensive multi-dimensional carbon label evaluation framework for electric power was established. Through the hierarchical structure, the relative importance between each factor is deeply analyzed, and the entropy weight method is used to conduct a more comprehensive weight distribution of the data, improving the objectivity of the evaluation. Finally, in the case analysis, through in-depth analysis of factors with higher and lower scores, more specific improvement suggestions are provided for decision makers.
