An Enhanced Content-based File Retrieval System
Document retrieval has long been a highly applicable research domain in office and scientific management. Since the release of our previous retrieval tool, unprecedented attention has been garnered due to its practicality. Consequently, following subsequent user demands, we received several improvement suggestions aimed at enhancing its capabilities. In this paper, we optimized and refined the design model while retaining its original functionality, incorporating multiple practical features to bolster its robustness. Key improvements include: enhanced clarity in process design, faster text extraction through multi-process capabilities, increased versatility through expanded file format support, and improved user interaction via interface enhancements. The refined tool now facilitates more convenient document retrieval for users, thereby contributing to labor-saving efficiencies.
