Research on Control Strategies of Energy Storage Participating in Primary Frequency Regulation of Wind Farm
At present, clean energy represented by wind and solar energy is gradually replacing traditional fossil energy. However, due to the instability of clean energy itself, it will affect the safe and stable operation of the power grid. The wind turbine is connected to the grid with power electronic devices. The decoupling characteristics of the output power of the unit and the system frequency weaken the inertial response ability of the system and affect the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Considering the negative impact of the increase in clean energy penetration on the safe operation of the power system, the existing energy storage devices in the system can participate in the frequency regulation of the power grid and improve the frequency stability of the power system. This paper mainly studies the primary frequency regulation control of the power grid by using wind turbine and energy storage system.
