Tilt-Rotating Calibration Method for MEMS Gyroscope Based on ALGRO Algorithm

Aiming at the problem that traditional gyroscopic calibration relies on expensive turntables, a tilt-rotating calibration method for MEMS gyroscope based on adaptive levy flight gold rush optimization algorithm (ALGRO) is proposed. The error model of the gyroscope is used to determine the objective function for calibration based on the tilt-rotating method, and an optimization algorithm is employed to derive the gyroscope error parameters. In order to enhance the algorithm's optimization capability, an adaptive levy flight strategy is introduced into the gold rush optimization algorithm (GRO). Experiments show that after compensation, the cumulative error of the rotation angle of the gyroscope is reduced by 96.3%, and the cumulative error of the rotation angle is reduced by 50.4% compared with that of the traditional gyroscope without rotary table calibration method. This method has high accuracy and can meet the needs of consumer-grade MEMS gyroscope calibration.
