Road Waterlogging Information Monitoring and Feedback System Based on the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System
Sudden rainstorm will lead to road waterlogging, especially for cities with underdeveloped drainage systems, and vehicle congestion will occur on waterlogged sections. The low-lying sections have hidden dangers of life and property safety, which has a serious impact on traffic safety. With the development of China's economy and society, the number of motor vehicles and the number of drivers have increased rapidly, and the global climate change has led to an increase in precipitation intensity in various countries in the world, so the situation of road waterlogging in China will be more serious. In order to relieve the traffic pressure of the road section prone to road waterlogging, a road waterlogging information monitoring and feedback system based on the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System is proposed. Through the deployment of the Internet and the development of cloud servers, the software and hardware are integrated. The system utilizes a liquid level sensor to detect road waterlogging information and is equipped with an ESP8266 module for wireless data transmission to both the monitoring station and cloud platform. It adopts bemfa's cloud platform information management mode for real-time storage and management of road waterlogging data, thereby achieving road and in-car warning functionalities. The “Road Guard” mini program can realize the functions of information query, voice warning and manual addition of monitoring stations, which can not only provide drivers with the road waterlogging information of each road on their driving route, so that they can avoid dangerous waterlogged roads and re-optimize the route. The existence of the developer interface provides convenience for the traffic related departments to manage road waterlogging information. The whole system solves the problem of delayed feedback of road waterlogging information, realizes the centralized sharing and feedback of real-time and accurate monitoring of road waterlogging information and monitoring data, and is one of the effective ways to avoid vehicle congestion and vehicle accidents on water-prone sections.
