A Wake Cooperative Control Method for Wind Farm
The wake effect is one of the main factors limiting the maximum power generation of wind farms. The wake generated by upstream wind turbines can cause downstream wind speed to decrease, significantly reducing the generation power of downstream wind turbines. At present, wind tunnel experiment or numerical simulation is often used to study the wake effect, which is costly. Due to the limitations of operation and maintenance and the site, it is difficult to obtain the parameters of the above experimental model and analyze the wake state by deploying sensors in the wind field that has been put into operation. The existing algorithms are aimed at neatly arranged wind farms, and most of them are the same type of wind turbines in the field, and there is a lack of optimization research for the actual wind farms with complex arrangements. The technical problem solved in this paper is how to effectively identify and reduce the wake influence between wind turbines, and improve the overall operating efficiency and stability of wind farms by cooperating to control the yaw strategy of wind turbines.
