Stable Tracking of Low Signal-to-Noise Ratio Targets Using a Costas Loop Combining FLL+PLL
Traditional target tracking methods face problems such as low positioning accuracy and weak robustness, which seriously restrict communication performance and reliability. In order to overcome these challenges, this paper combines the advantages of Frequency Locked Loop (FLL), Phase Locked Loop (PLL), and Costas loop to improve signal tracking performance under low signal-to-noise (SNR) conditions. The experimental results show that this method can achieve 75% effective detection in a harsh environment of -10 dB. And it can achieve lower tracking errors in a shorter locking time.
