A Method for Ballistic Missile Trajectory Correlation Based on Trajectory State Estimation
In order to improve the quality of ballistic missile detection intelligence, multiple radar coverage is usually set up in key areas, resulting in multiple radars detecting the same ballistic missile target at the same time. Before trajectory fusion, it is necessary to perform trajectory association to link the trajectories of the same target together. This article proposes a ballistic trajectory correlation method based on trajectory state estimation. Firstly, the trajectory correlation process is designed, including four steps: spatiotemporal registration, coarse trajectory correlation, fine trajectory correlation, and trajectory correlation verification. Among them, precise trajectory correlation is the most complex and has the greatest impact on the correlation results. Therefore, the focus is on designing the precise trajectory correlation algorithm.
