Safety and efficacy of placental mesenchymal stromal cells-derived extracellular vesicles in knee osteoarthritis: a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial
A single intra-articular injection of placental mesenchymal stromal cells-derived extracellular vesicles (5 cc, 7 × 10<sup>9</sup> particles/cc) is safe, but does not improve clinical symptoms or MRI findings in knee osteoarthritis beyond placebo. The protocol of this study was approved on 11 May 2022 with registration number IRCT20210423051054N1.
