The TB vaccine clinical trial centre directory: An inventory of clinical trial centres in Sub-Saharan Africa
New TB vaccine candidates need to be assessed in clinical trials in countries with high rates of TB in the coming years. An open-access directory of TB vaccine clinical trial centres in sub-Saharan Africa was established, providing an overview of the capacity to conduct clinical trials for TB vaccine candidates (http://www.edctp.org/our-work/coordination-tb-vaccine-funded-research/directory-tb-vaccine-clinical-trial-sites-sub-saharan-africa/).The directory is intended for clinical triallists, funders, policymakers, and researchers to accelerate the clinical development of novel TB vaccines by providing useful information.Regular updates are necessary to ensure the directory remains relevant for vaccine development and feeds into the continental Clinical Trials Community (https://ctc.africa/).
