Plasma Phenylacetylglutamine Levels and Prognosis of Ischemic Stroke: A Multicenter Prospective Study Based on the CATIS Trial
Elevated plasma phenylacetylglutamine levels at baseline were associated with increased risks of adverse clinical outcomes at 3 months after ischemic stroke, suggesting that phenylacetylglutamine may be a promising prognostic biomarker for ischemic stroke. Further studies are needed to investigate whether phenylacetylglutamine is a stroke-specific biomarker.
