Atroposelective Synthesis of Biaryl N‐Oxides via Cu‐Catalyzed De Novo Heteroaromatic N‐Oxide Ring Formation (Adv. Sci. 40/2024)
Dipole Atropisomers In article number 2405743, Bo Han, Gu Zhan, and their colleagues developed a novel de novo construction method for heteroaromatic N‐oxide rings, achieving efficient synthesis of diverse biaryl N‐oxide atropisomers. Some of the synthesized products serve as efficient, recyclable Lewis base catalysts, while others exhibit significant antitumor activity against various cancer cell lines. [Image: see text]
