The Standard Romanian Language in Bessarabian Journalistic Discourse: Issues of Correct Expression

Although there has been ongoing discussion about purifying and cultivating the language since independence, problems with expression still persist in public discourse, particularly in journalism. This segment of literary language usage has a significant impact on Romanian speakers within our linguistic space. Therefore, we will address several issues related to errors and inconsistencies found in current journalistic discourse, with a focus on the standard language, as it is and should be the norm in journalistic, especially informational, discourse.
