Slaintécare Healthy Communities: Engaging with evidenced based best practice to promote health literacy in Ireland

Abstract This workshop will include a blend of presenters from both practice and research, with tangible examples of how the needs analysis was conducted, how meaningful partnerships were developed, and how we suggest these suggestions can be brought to life. This opening presentation will set the scene, detailing the role of Sláintecare Healthy Communities, the rationale for a focus on health literacy, the incredible value of adopting a meaningful participatory approach, and learnings from collaborating with a research team/project.
