A Study on Confucius' View of Art Based on the Study of Benevolence
The purpose of this study is to prepare guidelines that can be used educationally based on the view of art examined through Confucius. The research method was to interpret the view of art as a human being. Courtesy and Justice is directly related to human nature. This refers to paternal affection based on clan blood relations. It was believed that if people were to realize this and take conscious action, society would have a conciliatory atmosphere and propriety would naturally be restored. Chéngyúlè argues that a perfect human being is created through the learning of music. Yóuyúyì means that if you govern the world by example, you can reach the highest level. This speaks of a view of art based on humanism. However, the research materials were re-edited according to the philosophy and narrative style of later scholars or certain thinkers. Therefore, it is hoped that follow-up research will be conducted on this and a faithful interpretation of Confucius"s evil and propriety will be achieved.
