Ergodic and Chaotic Properties of the Heat Equation

Abstract We consider a semiflow generated by the heat equation on the half-line with zero Neumann boundary condition. If the initial functions are from some weighted space X , then we prove that there exists an invariant mixing measure and X is the topological support of this measure. This result implies chaotic properties of the semiflow.
