A paediatric case of multiple pilomatricomas: assessing the risk of genetic disorders
Pilomatricomas are benign tumours from hair matrix cells, often associated with genetic disorders such as myotonic dystrophy. We report a case of multiple pilomatricomas in a 12-year-old boy, suggesting they may indicate underlying hereditary diseases, requiring careful post-surgical follow-up and examination.
