Digital Ruble and Its Implementation: Legal Nature in the Context of Private Law and Public Law Regulation
The article briefly examines the history of the emergence and development of ideas about the digital ruble in Russia and abroad, its advantages for the modern state. The legal norms that consolidate the introduction of the digital ruble into circulation are analyzed. As a result, it is concluded that two different approaches can be traced in the regulation of the digital ruble by private (civil) and public (financial) law: if the norms of civil law regulate the digital ruble as a kind of non-cash money, then the norms of public law, establishing a special procedure for its circulation, allocate the digital ruble into an independent form of money.
