Study on Operation Disturbance Characteristics of Three-phase Common Box GIS Switch and Its Influence on Secondary Cable
With the development of intelligent substations, the problems of very fast transient overvoltage (VFTO) and transient enclosure voltage (TEV) caused by gas insulated substation (GIS) disconnector operation become more prominent, which may not only cause harm to the insulation system of primary equipment, but also couple electromagnetic disturbance to secondary equipment. In this paper, TEV due to disconnector and circuit breaker operation were tested in a three-phase common box GIS substation. The VFTO and TEV co-simulation model is established in EMTP-ATP software. The VFTO and TEV waveform and spectrum are calculated and analyzed. Different arc models are used to simulate. The amplitude and frequency of VFTO and TEV waveform under different arc models are obtained. In this paper, KVVP2-22 cable commonly used in substations is selected to simulate the disturbance voltage of the secondary cable coupled by VFTO.
