Acceleration of Mirror Image Method Using 3D Poisson Summation Approach for Solving Antenna Problems in a Stirred Reverberation Chamber
3D Poisson Summation Approach is proposed to accelerate the MoM-based mirror image method (MIM) solution to antenna problems in large closed cavities such as Reverberation Chambers including radiating wire antennas and stirrers. The developed approach is validated by comparison of the fields due to a wire antenna in a realistic RC with direct MoM. The benefit of the proposed approach compared to direct MoM is confirmed. Its application to antenna problems in a stirred RC is demonstrated.
